Parippu Curry / Dal curry is a typical and significant dish for Onam or any Kerala Sadya. Sadhya is a grand vegetarian spread on Banana leaf served and enjoyed during festive Occasions in Kerala. Parippu Curry, Avial, Sambar, Kalan, Olan, Pulissery, Vellarikka Pachadi, Pineapple Kichadi, Erissery, Inji Curry, Kumbalanga Moru Curry, Thoran, Koottu curry, Papad, Instant Mango Pickles, Crisps, Palada Payasam, Parippu Pradhaman, Mathanga Payasam, Pazham Pradhaman, Madhurakizhangu payasam etc. are the main dishes during Onam Sadhya.
